Children have an infinite capacity for learning, not least new languages. Their motivation will never be higher than when their natural curiosity leads them to explore the world through English.
The vital importance of English in the modern world as an essential key to success is now a fact of life and, whilst it's never too late to start, an early start assures a more natural learning process. For many parents nowadays, one of the highest priorities in equipping their children for contemporary life has to be the added dimension of English.
Special courses for young children and teenagers are available at Instituto Britanico during the Costa Rican school year and during the summer vacation. A different experience from the type of lessons students have generally known at school, these courses form a firm base for more advanced study in the future.
Our teachers, who are professionals drawn from various parts of the world, are specialised in understanding young people's learning needs and are skilled in providing materials and activities to maintain students' enthusiasm. Classes are small (never more than twelve students, usually about eight), ensuring maximum attention for everyone.
