If you have decided which is the best course for you and would like to investigate the availability of your preferred dates, simply follow the application procedure below and we will get back to you. Please note you should allow at least four weeks between your application and your start date.
Registration process
Before you complete the Application Form, we suggest you read the Terms and Conditions below. After you have sent us the Application Form, we will confirm your choice of course and dates and provide details of the deposit procedure. Then you make the deposit (either through an electronic transfer or international money order) and send us a copy (by fax or mail) of the paperwork. We then send you the confirmation of your registration.
Terms and conditions

Deposits
A deposit must be received at least two weeks in advance of your course starting date.
Deposits can be made by electronic transfer or international money order. Details of these are included when we confirm the availability of your choice of dates.
Applicants are responsible for paying all charges incurred by the transfer, of both the sending and receiving banks.
Amounts due for deposits are: Spanish course $100; Homestay $100; Airport pick-up $25. These are deductible from the total cost, which is to be paid in full on the first day.
Payments made at Instituto Britanico can be made in cash (US$ or Costa Rican Colones), by travellers cheque (US$) or with any major credit card.
Refunds
Deposits are not refundable.
No refunds are given for late arrivals or early departures. (In these cases, however, we ask you to communicate your changes as soon as possible to the Director of the Spanish Programme).
Medical insurance
All students of the Spanish Programme are required to be covered by a medical insurance policy. If you arrive in the country without medical cover, we can help you to take out a policy through Costa Rica's National Insurance Institute (INS).
Public holidays
Because of national holidays, the Spanish Programme is closed for classes every year on the following dates: 1 January, Thursday/Friday of Easter Week, 1 May, 15 September, 25 December. Courses programmed around these dates will have class hours rescheduled.
